We all have a story. The lives we live filled with ups and downs, good times and bad times, all come together to shape and mold us into the individuals that we are today.
I have always been inspired by others who share their stories because whether we know it or not, many people have gone through experiences and or hardships that you have also gone through, or might be currently facing. An often times overlooked benefit of our freedom is that we can express ourselves. We can dig deep within our souls to not only be of inspiration to others, but also to ourselves.
Below is a personal statement I wrote during my time period applying to law school. It was my first time really digging deep, analyzing in retrospect my own life and how everything connects. It is a very personal story to me, but as stated earlier, it is important for us to be more open in sharing our stories to hopefully inspire someone out there who might be in need of hope to continue on.
